The format

Why this works in a real room

Corporate functions fail in a predictable way. Drinks at six, speeches at seven, and by eight the room has split into the groups that already sit together. A table format breaks that up, because a table needs a mix of people around it and gives everyone the same thing to look at.

We arrive with full-size entertainment tables, trained hosts and a floor plan built for your room. Guests receive a fixed stack of symbolic chips at the door. Those chips have no monetary value, cannot be bought and cannot be exchanged for money or goods. The result is an evening of competitive fun that is entirely entertainment.

Fixed limits

Every event we run is capped at up to 125 guests and up to 5 hours of guest time. Those limits keep the service deliverable and the floor comfortable.

Pricing is quoted per event and depends on the size of the event, the venue and the formats you choose.

Inclusions

What a corporate evening includes

  • Tables sized to your room Roulette, blackjack and poker-style tables in the mix that suits your numbers and floor space.
  • Uniformed hosts A trained host at every table who teaches the format in under a minute and keeps the energy up.
  • Floor plan and set-up Site visit or plan review, delivery, build, and a full strip-out at the end of the night.
  • Symbolic chip banking Equal starting stacks, a simple leaderboard and an optional trophy moment at the close.
  • Table lighting Warm pooled light over each table so the room reads as an event, not a function hall.
  • Compliance briefing Your host team confirms the adults-only, no-wagering position at the start of the evening.

Delivery

How the evening runs

  1. Brief and numbers

You tell us the venue, the head count and the time window. We propose a table mix and a floor plan that leaves room for food service and conversation.

  2. Load-in

Crew arrive two to three hours ahead of guests. Tables are built, lighting is rigged and cables are taped and covered before the first guest walks in.

  3. Welcome and chip issue

Each guest collects an equal stack of symbolic chips. Hosts explain the formats and the house rules, including that nothing on the table is played for money.

  4. Open floor

Two to four hours of rotating play. Hosts coach newcomers, keep tables balanced and make sure quieter guests are drawn in.

  5. Close and recognition

Tables close on a countdown, chip stacks are counted, and the night ends with a short recognition moment for the top tables.

  6. Strip-out

We clear the floor, remove all kit and leave the venue as we found it, usually within ninety minutes.

Questions

Asked about this format

Is this gambling, and will it pass an internal compliance review?

No. Guests play with symbolic chips that are issued free, hold no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for money, goods or credit. There are no wagers, no cash prizes, no deposits and nothing online. We can put that position in writing for your compliance or HR team.

How much space does a table need?

Allow roughly three by three metres per table including the standing area behind it. A room for 80 guests usually takes three to four tables with comfortable circulation.

Can you work around speeches and food service?

Yes. We build the run sheet around your programme and pause or reopen tables on your cue.
